Duwaynne Callister’s Family Testimonial
Little “Duwaynne” arrived at Salt Lake International Airport in early March…he appeared healthy and happy to be in the company of his new owners. He was certainly a beautiful little fellow, with his wonderful brindle striped fur and his white face and chest. His head was finely shaped, and we noticed he has two little white toes on his rear feet. A magnificent little puppy, to be sure.
Well, the word “little” no longer applies to Duwaynne. He’s very healthy, he eats like a horse, and he is growing like a weed. In less than two months, he now outweighs his older brother Roy, a sturdy and oversized black pug who tips the scales at 27 pounds.
Although Duwaynne attracts constant attention from neighbors, strangers, and friends due to his unique and impressive appearance, it is his personality we most love about him. He has a gentle, playful nature both with humans and his dog pal Roy. The neighborhood kids come over on a daily basis asking if Duwaynne can come outside and play, where he is always gentle and never aggressive and loves to have his tummy rubbed. We wanted our young pug Roy to have canine friend, and we found the perfect match in Duwaynne, who chases Roy constantly around the house and yard, insisting on endless wrestling matches. They are a most entertaining pair.
We have had Duwaynne only two months at this point, and we can hardly imagine how we got along without him. He is truly a beautiful little creature.
